Ginger Parish
Ginger (Director) is a mother, musician/songwriter, vocalist, and Music Together teacher. For over twenty-five years she has interwoven her passion for music and children with her love of nature by using music in her nature education classes. She has led numerous song circles with children and adults over the years in schools, at music festivals, and around campfires! She currently enjoys doing "grown-up music" in the folk trio Three at Last. In the past eleven years, she has focused on music teaching, first as a preschool music specialist and then a Music Together teacher and Children's Ensemble director. Ginger has found deep enjoyment using her training and music skills to awaken a life-long love of music in young children (including her young son!). She has delighted in bringing Music Together to Sonoma County's fine families for eight years. She has received additional training by the Center for Music and Young Children to become certified at Level I, a step beyond standard teacher training.

Helen Boland
Helen is a registered Music Together teacher, violin teacher, and a Music Together mom! At the age of three, Helen began playing violin, and that has remained her passion. She now teaches private violin lessons for children and adults. Also a singer, she performed with a chorus for several years. After teaching Jr. High for seven years, she became a Master Hypnotherapist, and now uses her skills to help people overcome challenges. Helen has found in Music Together a chance to share music deeply with people of all ages, and has been with our program in Santa Rosa, Windsor, and Healdsburg for over two years. We are lucky to have her with her warm style and sweet smiles! As one mom wrote recently "Teacher Helen Rocks!"

Star Tom
Tom “Star Tom” McCurry graduated from the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies at SSU with a minor in Applied Arts. Tom has been both playing guitar and working in classrooms for over 22 years. Star Tom works as a musician and teacher full-time, giving music instruction in many private preschools and in the County Special Needs classroom system, as well as with Music Together and Summerfield Waldorf High School. Star Tom performs for various local churches twice a week, performs for private events and parties locally, and has a successful CD of all original material. He has two sons, Willy and Sam, and lives in Healdsburg. Tom is an avid metaphysician and enjoys hiking, reading, cooking and gabbing with friends.
